In a New York Times report, a woman in her 40’s who had never had cavities, suddenly developed two cavities and signs of gum disease. A little investigation revealed that she was dating a man who hadn’t been to the dentist in over 18 years. Every time they kissed, he was passing along his bacteria to her.
